Maestroy Illayaraja was first inspired by Paas script, when its director R Balki narrated him the script. He composed the music, and the album has been liked in the film, than otherwise. Now, the maestro has acquired the remake rights of the film and is planning to make it in Tamil with a big actor-hero.
